TOKYO — A man was seriously injured after being hit by a woman who apparently
jumped from a building in Tokyo’s Shinjuku on Monday morning.
According to police, the 30-year-old woman jumped from the 9th floor
of her office building into a parking lot at 10:30 a.m. TV Asahi
reported that a 45-year-old company employee was conversing with a
colleague in front of a vending machine when the woman landed on him.
Police said the man suffered a broken neck, while the woman broke her back in the fall.
