Connie Lynn Mccallister was last seen on August 15, 2004, at the age of 16.

ATHENS, Wis. — The aunt of a Wausau woman who has been found after being missing for nine years says her niece was held in Mexico against her will.
Connie McCallister, now 25, disappeared with her then-22-year-old boyfriend in 2004.

Florence Volzka says the boyfriend drugged her to get her to Mexico. She says the man eventually beat her and she ended up in the hospital, where a worker helped change her identity.

She says since McCallister didn't know Spanish, it was hard for her to contact her family.

Volzka says a missionary recently helped McCallister contact American authorities.

Volzka was reluctant to release many details until she was safely home.
An Athens church is trying to raise money to bring her and her three children back.
